Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a senior capture leader for its National Security Solutions team in Virginia. The role focuses on end-to-end pursuit management for high-value Intel Community contracts, requiring active TS/SCI clearance and proven leadership at senior levels.

Location is on-site in Virginia with travel, for roles driving growth, teaming, pricing strategies, and acquisition processes in space and defense programs. Competitive compensation and bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years of experience with capture of Intel Community contracts valued >$200M.
• 5+ years of experience in project or program management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; degree may be substituted by related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead senior business and government leaders.
• Experience in mature capture organizations targeting space and engineering support.
• Ability to drive profitable financial outcomes with LOE/BOE development.
• Proven skills in business development, capture management, program management, and acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage two to four capture efforts in various stages for award within 18 months.
• End-to-end pursuit ownership from identification to proposal submission.
• Coordinate with growth, corporate, and operational teams to execute pursuits.
• Ensure quality of capture and proposal artifacts and products.
• Ensure smooth hand-off of information between teams during pursuit phases.
• Develop capture artifacts such as win themes and past performance candidates.
