Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to lead capture and proposal efforts for government and commercial opportunities in satellite communications. You will partner with Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, and Finance to drive win strategies and manage ROMs, NTEs, and firm proposals.

The role requires building relationships with customers and agencies, directing multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliant, persuasive proposals that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university; 12 years relevant experience.
• Proven track record in capturing new business in airborne/space-based systems.
• Knowledge of space-based comm systems including phased array antennas and processing electronics.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture strategy to identify, pursue, and win satellite communications opportunities.
• Build relationships with government agencies and potential customers to position the company as a preferred provider.
• Organize and lead proposal teams to produce compliant, on-time proposals.
• Review pricing for accuracy and ensure BOEs align with RFP requirements.
• Coordinate with program management, engineering, contracts, and finance during negotiations.
