Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to lead capture and proposal efforts for government and commercial opportunities in satellite communications. You will coordinate with Contracts, Program Management, Engineering and Finance to ensure compliant, timely proposals.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years with a strong track record in space-based systems, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. This full-time role offers stock options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Advanced degree desired (MBA, MS).
• Proven track record of managing new business opportunities in airborne and space-based systems.
• In-depth knowledge of space-based communication systems including phased array antennas and processing electronics.
• Strong business acumen to drive revenue growth and manage capture strategies.
• Experience in proposal pricing methodologies/tools and creating BOEs for bids.
• Understanding of proposal and gate review processes.
• Demonstrated experience in multi-stakeholder proposal development with compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive capture strategy to identify, pursue, and win new space/airborne comms business.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and potential customers.
• Organize and lead proposal teams to produce on-time, compliant proposals.
• Articulate win strategies and ensure consistency across final documents.
• Partner with leadership to align proposal activities with company strategy.
• Support development of standard pricing and estimating tools for bids.
