Job summary

Hylant in Manchester, NH seeks an Account Executive to lead a captive account management team and be a strategic advisor to clients. You will guide talent development, oversee performance, and ensure service excellence.

You’ll drive client relationships, prepare leadership-level presentations, and collaborate with auditors, regulators, and legal experts to meet business and regulatory objectives. This role requires travel and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Seven or more years of captive insurance, auditing, risk management, or captive management experience.
• CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI, or other relevant professional designations preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
• Strong understanding of captive insurance operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to travel for meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of account managers across recruiting, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Serve as executive relationship manager and trusted advisor for captive clients on ops, governance and finances.
• Lead client and board meetings, presenting financial and operational results.
• Oversee complex client engagements, resolve issues and identify value opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence with process improvements and compliance deadlines.
• Provide oversight of financial reporting, regulatory filings, and risk management.
• Collaborate with auditors, actuaries, legal counsel, regulators and service providers.
• Support growth through client retention, proposals, and industry thought leadership.
