Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Consulting Manager in the Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice. You will perform construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments to deliver integrated, value-driven solutions for clients across the United States.

You will lead fieldwork, collaborate with project teams, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve transparency, accountability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related experience in construction management, real estate advisory, or capital projects consulting.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or Accounting; professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, PMP, PE) preferred.
• Knowledge of construction phases including planning, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, reporting, and lease management.
• Strong written and verbal communication for producing client-facing reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of construction and real estate management processes, controls, and compliance.
• Assess contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for compliance with terms and requirements.
• Provide recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork including data collection, site visits, interviews, and reporting of observations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, clients, contractors and other stakeholders to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support lifecycle from acquisition to disposition to align with client objectives.
