Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an experienced Consulting Manager for its Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice in the United States. The role focuses on construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments, delivering best-practice consulting to capital projects and portfolio operations.

Applicants should have at least five years in construction or real estate advisory, with a relevant degree and professional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in construction or real estate advisory.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting; CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, PMP or PE preferred.
• Knowledge of construction phases, real estate portfolio management, lease administration, and property operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate management reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assess contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for compliance and best practices.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency, accountability and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews, and reporting for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, contractors, and clients to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support lifecycle from acquisition to disposition, aligning with strategic objectives.
