Job summary

American States Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a Capital Program Supervisor to oversee complex capital projects in water and wastewater engineering and construction.

You will supervise Capital Project Coordinators and Inspectors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities include scope development, cost estimation, RFP support, and coordination with DPW and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in managing public works and/or public utility projects.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.
• Must possess or obtain PMI/AAPM certification or Professional Engineer license within first two years.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of assigned capital projects.
• Coordinates resources with operations, customer service, engineering design, and water quality functions.
• Prepares scopes of work and cost estimates for projects and RFPs.
• Monitors project schedules and budgets; implements corrective actions as needed.
• Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory and company requirements for projects.
