Job summary

Safeware, Inc. is seeking an experienced Capital Projects Manager to lead large-scale construction and facility improvement projects across client sites and company facilities, with remote work and approximately 20% travel; reports to the Director of Sales Operations.

You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and contractors, coordinate stakeholders, ensure safety and compliance, and drive on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent
• 5+ years managing capital construction or similar projects
• Experience handling multiple projects with budgets, scopes, and schedules
• Knowledge of construction methods, contracts, safety regulations
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with project management software and cost-tracking systems
• Strong MS 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Willingness to travel ~30% as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale construction and facility projects from award to completion
• Develop and maintain project budgets and critical path schedules
• Monitor progress, financial performance, quality, and timelines
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, customers, and internal teams
• Ensure contractor performance meets quality, safety, and contractual obligations
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
• Prepare project updates, cost forecasts, and leadership reports
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer satisfaction
