Job summary

Safeware, Inc. is seeking a Capital Projects Manager to lead large-scale construction and facility improvement projects remotely with about 20% travel to customer sites.

You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and contractor coordination, delivering projects safely and within budget while balancing competing priorities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field and 5+ years of capital project leadership, with strong MS Office and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing capital construction projects.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects with budgets, scopes and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration and safety.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, consultants and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with project management software and cost-tracking systems.
• Advanced MS 365 skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution: manage large-scale construction and facility projects from award to completion.
• Develop and maintain budgets and critical path schedules.
• Monitor progress, financials, quality and timelines; address delays or overruns.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, customers and internal teams.
• Oversee contractor performance for quality, safety and schedule.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Provide reporting and cost forecasts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety regs, and company policies.
• Support process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
