Job summary

Materion seeks a Senior Manufacturing Project Manager with a strong CapEx focus to lead the strategic planning, execution, and completion of capital projects in a manufacturing environment.

You will oversee the full lifecycle from concept through commissioning, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet time, budget and quality goals. The role emphasizes leadership, financial discipline, and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; mechanical, electrical, civil, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PE license or PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
• 7–10 years of engineering experience with hands-on project work in manufacturing.
• Experience with capital expenditure projects and capital project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, within time and budget.
• Provide CapEx input and maintain budget tracking and reporting.
• Mentor early career project managers and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operations, finance and procurement for project success.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
