NYC Administration for Children's Services seeks an Administrative Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and oversight of a major capital projects program. This role reports to REDCFM and involves budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The Manager will exercise independent judgment on costs, timelines, and funding sources, ensuring accountability and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration with five years of related experience.
• Two years of administrative/managerial/supervisory experience required.
• Alternative qualifications include higher education or professional licenses substituting for one year of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee development and progress of a major capital project program.
• Develop, negotiate, and administer the overall capital budget.
• Coordinate with REDCFM and design/construction teams to ensure schedules and fiscal constraints are met.
• Maintain records, documentation, and reports for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration

Five years of full-time experience in planning, administering or expediting engineering design/construction; two years in admin/managerial/supervisory capacity

Alternative: high school diploma and nine years of experience with two years in admin/management

Education/experience equivalent; Master’s degree, law degree, or NYS license may substitute for one year of experience
