Job summary

Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. seeks a Senior Project Execution Engineer to lead medium-to-large CAPEX projects at the Dunmore, PA facility. You will drive projects from concept to commissioning, ensure safety, and manage cost and schedule with cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate with operations, maintenance, quality, EHS, procurement, and global engineering to deliver innovative solutions, achieve VSU milestones, and uphold regulatory and hygienic design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial).
• 5+ years of progressive project engineering experience in CPG/food-beverage or related industries.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary industrial projects and contractor management.
• Full business and technical fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive CAPEX projects from concept through commissioning, within safety, schedule, and budget targets.
• Direct external engineering firms, equipment vendors, and contractors; oversee installation, piping, electrical/automation, and civil works.
• Apply Front-End Loading and Initiative Management to build scope, cost estimates, risk registers, and execution schedules.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA/USDA expectations and Barry Callebaut safety standards.
• Track budgets, review pay apps, manage change orders, and control scope creep using SAP and MS Project.
• Ensure equipment layouts meet local regulations and hygienic design standards.
• Collaborate with Dunmore Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, and Global Engineering for smooth integration and VSU.
• Coordinate with Technical Sourcing for RFQ, bid evaluation, FAT, and vendor performance.
• Primary location: Dunmore, PA; occasional travel to vendor shops and other NAM facilities.
