Job summary

Barry Callebaut Group is seeking an Engineering Execution Director to lead the overall engineering delivery for a new US greenfield/major brownfield chocolate site. You will manage internal and external teams, develop engineering scope, estimates, and schedules, and coordinate with authorities, start-up teams, and senior leadership.

The role requires 12+ years in an engineering environment, a degree in engineering, and strong TPM/Stage-gate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Advanced level of English.
• 12+ years of experience in engineering, food process or CPG industry.
• Extensive experience in major greenfield/brownfield development, execution and start-up.
• Experience leading engineering departments or multiple technical teams.
• Strong budgeting and accounting skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SAP and engineering software.
• Knowledge of TPM, IM and Stage-gate project management.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and drive accountability.
• Willingness to travel ~30% for global meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall engineering execution for US greenfield/major brownfield site, ensuring cost, schedule and safety targets.
• Direct internal and external engineering teams and stakeholders; develop scope, estimates and schedules.
• Apply stage-gate project management and CQV/IQOQPQ processes as needed.
• Report progress to program director and senior leadership; support start-up activities.
