Job summary

Live Parallel in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Lead Retail Sales Associate/Lead Budtender to drive customer experience and sales results. You will lead by example, coach the team on selling techniques, and partner with the Store Manager to align actions with business goals.

You will provide cannabis recommendations, manage transactions, support merchandising, and help ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires 2+ years of retail experience, strong communication, and flexibility for evenings

Qualifications

• Age 21 or over.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales results.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail with multitasking and time management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to de-escalate and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as training ambassador for new hire onboarding and product launch education.
• Coach associates on consultative selling techniques, cross-selling, and upselling to maximize customer value and store performance.
• Partner with the Store Manager to communicate key business results, sales goals, and performance metrics to the team.
• Assume the role of Manager on Duty, responsible for opening/closing, banking, and store security.
• Model best-in-class service that exceeds customer expectations and builds long-term relationships.
• Provide customers with expert cannabis recommendations, including therapy goals, product effects, dosing, and methods of consumption.
• Participate in the patient intake process, maintaining records in compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
• Process and complete customer transactions using POS systems.
• Resolve customer concerns to inspire loyalty and trust in brands.
• Support merchandising and promotional execution, ensuring displays and product knowledge align with campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records of activities in accordance with regulations.
• Foster a positive team culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other related duties or projects to support store operations.
