Job summary

JM Family is seeking a Senior Mail Expediter in Florida. The role involves preparing incoming mail for distribution, processing outgoing mail, determining postage, and maintaining postage and package records. The position requires extending hours as needed and lifting heavy packages on an outdoor/indoor campus environment.

The Senior Mail Expediter will support mail distribution across the campus, assist with shipping, and help keep the workspace organized and efficient.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid FL Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to identify mail stops and their locations on our campus.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and time management.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of associates, vendors, and customers.
• Experience with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred).
• Ability to work evenings and overtime based on business needs.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Outdoor/Indoor position with frequent lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages.

Responsibilities

• Sorts incoming mail and courier packages for distribution.
• Distributes mail and packages internally on assigned campus mail runs.
• Distributes and collects mail, determines and affixes postage, and maintains records of postage, registered mail, and packages.
• Processes outgoing mail and packages to ensure everything collected goes out the same day.
• Assists associates with shipping and part orders.
• Maintains a neat, organized appearance of the work area.
• Assists team with special projects as needed.
