EPAM Systems is seeking a Calypso Support Analyst in Austin to provide day-to-day application support for the Calypso trading and risk platform. You will help ensure system stability, timely issue resolution, and collaborate with front, middle, back office and technology teams across asset classes.

This role blends technical troubleshooting with functional knowledge of trade lifecycle processes, requires hands-on Calypso experience and strong incident management, and offers mentoring to junior

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Calypso Support Analyst experience.
• Hands-on Calypso application knowledge.
• Experience with incident and problem management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to relocate or travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for Calypso across trading, risk, settlements, and accounting.
• Monitor batch jobs, interfaces, and system health.
• Investigate incidents raised by business users within SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and escalate complex problems.
• Support users across trade capture, confirmations, settlements, cash management, and reporting.
• Assist with EOD/SOD processes including P&L, risk, and position reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot pricing, valuation, and market data with quants.
• Support FX, Rates, Credit, MM, and Derivatives.
• Write and execute SQL queries to investigate data issues.
• Review Calypso logs, engine outputs, and Java traces.
• Support interfaces with upstream/downstream systems (Murex, Swift, GL, risk engines).
• Assist with deployments, patches, and environment refreshes.
• Mentor junior resources on the team.
