Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Sr Calibration Technician in Illinois to maintain, test, troubleshoot, calibrate and repair circuits and laboratory equipment. You will prepare technical reports, analyze data, and support calibration across manufacturing cells.

The role requires metrology understanding, ability to work with SOPs, and collaboration with engineers. Eligible for discretionary bonuses, with comprehensive benefits and a base salary range of $60,000–$82,500.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree; three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of metrology and ability to handle moderately complex processes.
• Good judgement and initiative in problem resolution.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working during PMPs.

Responsibilities

• Follows calibration testing procedures and SOPs for instruments and equipment.
• Creates and maintains equipment files for calibration.
• Sets up standards and test equipment to calibrate other instruments.
• Assists engineers with evaluation plans to maintain measurement accuracy.
• Coordinates instrument recertification with outside labs and documents inspections.
