Qualifications

• 4 years calibration experience or equivalent mechanical experience (e.g., Machinist, mechanical technologist, QA experience).
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and support team on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating mechanical measuring equipment.
• Data entry for calibration certificates.
• Updating/creating calibration procedures.
• Creating P-Shippers.
• Contacting suppliers for equipment that needs repair or calibration.
• Providing technical support for team members on the application of measuring equipment.
• Sending out weekly reminder notices.
• Represent the mechanical calibration lab during audits by customers/ISO certifications.
