Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Sr Calibration Technician in Round Lake, IL to maintain, test, calibrate and repair laboratory and manufacturing equipment. The role requires data-driven analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in GMP environments.

The candidate will handle calibration across multiple manufacturing cells, manage instrument certifications, and work with non-Cephalosporin and Cephalosporin facilities as needed, with strong computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Requires good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate writing and verbal communication skills, plus problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in a dynamic, minimally supervised environment with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair on circuits, components and instruments.
• Prepare technical reports and trend equipment performance based on data analysis.
• Coordinate instrument recertification and review incoming documentation.
• Assist engineers with evaluation plans to maintain precision measuring equipment.
