Job summary

Zinc Café & Bar in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Sr. Team Leader to drive service excellence and sales in a fast-paced café environment. You will support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and training, while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest experience.

Lead with a focus on teamwork, upselling, and adherence to company policies. Manage schedules, POS operations, and daily tasks, contributing to strong guest satisfaction and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED or Some College.
• 2–4 years of food handling experience.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong understanding of café/restaurant operations and guest experience.
• Experience with POS systems; Toast experience is a plus.
• Solid grasp of inventory planning, waste control, and basic P&L understanding.
• Passion for people and ability to coach and motivate.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
