Job summary

NAS Nachurs Alpine Solutions, LLC in St. Gabriel, LA seeks a Sr.

CAD & Engineering Documentation Specialist to create, update, and maintain engineering drawings, P&IDs, process diagrams and facility layouts supporting plant expansion and capital projects. You will collaborate with engineering, operations and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and effective documentation control across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years drafting, design, or engineering support in manufacturing, chemical processing, agriculture, or related environments.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and CAD software for P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and layouts.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and maintain drawing standards and document control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related software.
• Create and revise P&IDs, process diagrams, and equipment layouts.
• Support projects by converting concepts into accurate drawings and ensuring project alignment.
• Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and document management systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and plant personnel to reflect modifications and capital improvements.
• Assist with equipment specifications, material takeoffs, and project documentation.
• Support MOC and PSM requirements through drawing updates and documentation.
• Perform field verification of equipment, piping, and facility configurations.
• Ensure drawings comply with safety and regulatory standards.
