Job summary

Desert-Aire LLC in Germantown, WI is hiring for an engineering documentation specialist to create and update technical drawings using SolidWorks, maintain BOMs and ERP data, and support production with accurate documentation. This is an in-person role requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across Engineering, Production, and Planning teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering technology or CAD.
• Experience with CAD software; SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and readiness to learn refrigeration systems.
• Experience creating/updating technical drawings is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ERP and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to communicate with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create and update engineering documentation and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Maintain BOMs, engineering files, and manufacturing documentation.
• Assist with revisions to product documentation based on engineering and production feedback.
• Process engineering documentation changes and maintain accurate records.
• Generate and maintain ERP data to support manufacturing accuracy.
• Coordinate documentation releases with Engineering, Production, and Planning teams.
• Organize engineering files and maintain project tracking information.
• Support production by researching documentation questions and assisting with updates.
• Participate in document reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.
