Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking aSr. CAD & Engineering Documentation Specialist to create, update, and maintain drawings, P&IDs, and facility layouts for plant expansion and process improvements.

This role collaborates with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in all documentation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in drafting/engineering support, advanced AutoCAD skills, and experience with P&IDs and 3D CAD tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of drafting/engineering support in manufacturing, chemical processing, agriculture, or related environments.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience developing P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment layout drawings.
• Strong drawing standards knowledge and ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting/Engineering technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related software.
• Create and revise P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment layouts.
• Support engineering projects by transforming concepts into accurate drawings.
• Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and document management systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and plant personnel for accuracy.
• Update drawings for equipment modifications and capital projects.
• Assist with equipment specs, material takeoffs, and project documentation.
• Support MOC and PSM requirements through drawing updates.
• Perform field verification of equipment and facility configurations.
