Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer for a 1-year contract in Massachusetts. Hybrid work arrangement requires 3-4 days in the office and involves designing complex imaging and optical assemblies with ARAS Innovator PLM.

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and strong CAD capabilities. Ideal applicants will have hands-on experience with mechanisms, tolerances, and environmental testing, and be able to operate within a multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Strong CAD experience with SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Experience with mechanisms and complex assemblies.
• 5+ years with ARAS Innovator PLM.

Responsabilités

• Develop complex designs for optimal performance and manufacturability.
• Model mechanical enclosures and optical assemblies with precise alignment.
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to meet requirements.
• Support testing, fabrication, and environmental verification.
• Document design and participate in design reviews.
