Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. seeks a Design Engineer for a 3 year contract, on-site in Bedford, MA.

The role involves developing mechanical components and assemblies, generating detailed drawings, and supporting fabrication in collaboration with the engineering team. Required skills include SolidWorks, opto-mechanics or related areas, GD&T proficiency, and a strong ability to work independently or in cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/mechanisms, optical-mechanical, electronic packaging or structural design.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and MIL-Specs; experience with GD&T.
• Minimum 4 years of SolidWorks design experience.
• Ability to develop concepts, perform basic calculations, and create manufacturing drawings.

Responsabilités

• Design and document mechanical components and assemblies with tolerances, finishes, and materials.
• Prepare engineering release/revision documentation and fabrication orders.
• Support fabrication and assembly processes as required.
