Job summary

Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr Mechanical Engineer focused on Cable & Harness Design.

This remote role supports projects anywhere in the United States and involves detailed mechanical design, 3D routing, documentation, and lifecycle management of complex wire harnesses. Ideal candidates have strong PTC Creo expertise, solid electromechanical packaging background, and experience with formal CM/PLM workflows, ASME Y14 standards, and IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Qualifications

• Education: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in cable and wire harness mechanical design.
• CAD: Proficient with PTC Creo (Parametric and Cabling extensions).
• CM/PLM: Experience in formal CM/PLM environments.
• Standards: Familiar with ASME Y14 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of cable and harness assemblies.
• 3D routing and documentation of harness layouts.
• Lifecycle management of complex wire harnesses and interconnects.
