Job summary

Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer specializing in Cable & Harness Design. You will lead mechanical design, 3D routing, documentation, and lifecycle management of complex wire harnesses and interconnect assemblies.

The ideal candidate has strong PTC Creo expertise, a solid grounding in electromechanical packaging, and experience within formal Configuration Management workflows, plus familiarity with ASME Y14 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience: 10+ years in cable and wire harness mechanical design.
• CAD: Proficient with PTC Creo (Creo Parametric; Cabling extensions).
• CM/PLM: Formal CM/PLM environment experience.
• Familiar with ASME Y14 series and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of cable and harness assemblies.
• 3D routing and documentation for complex interconnects.
• Lifecycle management of harness designs within CM/PLM workflows.
