Job summary

Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer specializing in Cable & Harness Design with 100% remote work across the United States.

The role focuses on mechanical design, 3D routing, documentation, and lifecycle management of wire harnesses for spaceflight applications. Candidates should have extensive experience with PTC Creo (Parametric and Cabling), CM/PLM workflows, and industry standards such as ASME Y14 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience focused on cable and wire harness mechanical design.
• Experience with PTC Creo including Cabling extensions and Windchill CM/PLM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and 3D routing of complex wire harnesses and interconnect assemblies.
• Documentation and lifecycle management of harness designs in a formal CM/PLM environment.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards (ASME Y14, IPC/WHMA-A-620) and spaceflight requirements.
