Job summary

Encore Semi, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in Cable & Harness Design.

The role is 100% remote (Anywhere in the US) with responsibility for mechanical design, 3D routing, documentation, and lifecycle management of complex wire harnesses and interconnect assemblies. The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 10+ years in cable/wire harness design, strong PTC Creo skills, and CM/PLM experience, plus knowledge of ASME Y14 and IPC/WHMA-A-620

Qualifications

• Education: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of direct experience in cable and wire harness mechanical design.
• Proficient with PTC Creo (Parametric and Cabling extensions).
• Solid CM/PLM experience in a formal environment.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14 drafting standards and IPC/WHMA-A-620 harness standards.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of cable and harness assemblies.
• 3D routing and documentation management throughout product lifecycle.
• Lifecycle management of interconnect assemblies within CM/PLM workflows.
