Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead customer programs in high-speed interconnects. You will own architecture from ideation to volume production and collaborate with PMs and PLMs to deliver CBS solutions.

The role requires 10+ years of technical guidance in interconnects, strong communication with OEMs, hands-on modeling with Pro/E/ SolidWorks, and the ability to travel 30-50% to support customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) highly desirable.
• 10+ years of technical guidance in interconnect solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical strategy for CBS.
• Define system-level requirements for high-speed signal integrity and thermal efficiency.
• Develop specifications, schematics, and proof-of-concept models for cable backplane.
• Function as the primary point of contact between the cable cartridge manufacturer and the OEM.
• Develop a strong understanding of OEM requirements and goals.
• Facilitate regular meetings and technical discussions with OEM stakeholders.
• Address customer concerns and ensure alignment between organizations.
• Provide strategic technical support for CBS products.
• Prepare materials and lead high-level product presentations to executives.
• Provide advanced customer service to solve complex interconnect problems.
• Develop differentiation strategies for products, lead strategic objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership within CBS front-end engineering.
• Collaborate with multiple BUs for seamless CBS integration.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for CBS products.
• Participate in industry conferences to stay updated.
