You will support design, testing, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams at KCNSC in Kansas City, MO.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited BS in engineering or physics, have 2+ years of experience, and can travel as needed. U.S.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or Physics required.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and work on-site, remote, or hybrid as directed.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DOE security clearance.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and project management of new and current projects under guidance.
• Prepare product or project definitions, drawings, specs, procedures, and test equipment designs.
• Design products and acceptance equipment; designate tooling and related lab equipment.
• Develop test procedures and perform routine to moderately complex evaluations and audits.
• Conduct audits and analyze processes to identify problems and improve quality.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve development, production, and acceptance issues.
• Prepare evaluation reports and initiate improvements for products.
