Job summary
Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC, KCNSC in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Sr Electrical Engineer to support advanced manufacturing and high‑level engineering projects for national security. The role includes project management, design, development, evaluation and quality control of complex engineering programs.
You will mentor junior engineers, lead cross‑functional teams and apply statistical methods to production challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from ABET accredited program in Engineering or Physics.
- 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- United States Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain DOE security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for highly technical manufacturing processes.
- Manage projects including multiple disciplines to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Monitor electrical testing, troubleshoot failures, and adjust test limits.
- Write technical reports and incorporate findings into specifications.
- Transition designs from agency concepts to production and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Develop operating procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
- Plan and conduct engineering testing using advanced statistical methods.
- Determine acceptability of processes and materials with customers and design agencies.
- Lead technical project teams and provide guidance to management.
- Evaluate innovations to improve quality and productivity.
