Job description

MERRITT IS FAST-PACED, INNOVATIVE AND CHANGING THE LUXURY woodwork AND JOINERY INDUSTRY FROM THE INSIDE OUT.

We are seeking a skilled woodworking assembler to join our team. The role involves:

1. Collaborating with team members to assemble millwork and casework.
2. Adding architectural components such as base, trim, and crown molding.
3. Assembling high-end millwork and joinery using pre-machined components according to construction drawings.
4. Operating assembly machinery including case and frame clamps, table saws, chop saws, routers, drills, and band saws.
5. Performing hinge boring and insertion.
6. Installing hardware and reassembling finished products.
7. Monitoring shipping schedules and adjusting work as needed.
8. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Knowledge of woodworking and general assembly techniques.
2. Proficiency with sanders, glue machines, banders, and hand tools.
3. Ability to perform routine tasks accurately and efficiently to meet quality standards.
4. Effective communication skills with team members and management.
5. Willingness to share knowledge and collaborate.
6. Ability to lift materials weighing approximately 25-75 pounds repeatedly.
