Job description

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  1. Install electrical equipment, components, and devices with precision.
  2. Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
  3. Drill holes for wiring and pull or push wiring through openings.
  4. Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, switchgear, MCCs, etc.
  5. Maintain tools & equipment, and clean work area.
  6. Keep supplies and parts in order.
  7. Adhere to safety requirements and hazard awareness procedures.
  8. Attend a technical college for paid related instruction.
YOU HAVE:
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Strong desire to learn and develop skills in the electrical field.
  3. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Dedication to completing a five-year apprenticeship program, plus a minimum two-year commitment upon completion of the apprenticeship program.
  6. Ability to pass required math and reading tests.
