Job summary
A leading IT solutions provider is seeking a dynamic C2 Systems Engineer VI to lead technical authority in designing and modernizing Command and Control training networks. The role requires extensive experience in network engineering and the ability to manage engineering teams. You will oversee cybersecurity compliance and provide direct support to major training events, ensuring a high-performance and secure technical infrastructure for military operations. This fulltime on-site position is located at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in network engineering, systems engineering, or C2 systems integration.
Experience supporting Marine Corps or Joint tactical networks preferred.
Experience designing/sustaining geographically distributed training or operational networks.
Responsibilities
Lead technical authority for designing and modernizing C2 training networks.
Manage the engineering team at MISTC HQ.
Oversee configuration management, cybersecurity compliance, and network standardization.
Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Excellent communication and technical briefing skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting capability
Ability to manage engineering teams
Ability to work independently or collaboratively
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
Advanced network or cybersecurity certifications
