Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Lead C-UAS Systems Integration & Operational Analysis Engineer in Huntsville, AL. The role spans integration, testing, fielding, and operational analysis of a next-generation C-UAS missile system.

You will work across interceptor, launcher, C2, radar, sensor, and comm interfaces to ensure end-to-end kill chain effectiveness. You will lead test planning, data analysis, and customer-facing technical reporting, mentoring junior engineers and shaping deployment strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level technical degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in C-UAS, missile defense, or similar defense systems.
• Experience integrating interceptors into C2 systems.
• DoD test range experience and test-event support.
• Ability to analyze complex systems with data and tests.
• Strong documentation and leadership for program teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of the Next Gen C-UAS missile into C2 and battle management.
• Coordinate full end-to-end integration across systems and interfaces.
• Develop test plans, verification methods, and data analyses.
• Provide on-site support at test ranges and operational locations.
• Analyze engagement sequences and system performance end-to-end.
• Brief program leadership with actionable recommendations.
