Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead C-UAS Systems Integration and Operational Analysis Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

This role supports development, testing, and fielding of a next-generation C-UAS missile system, leading integration with C2, sensor, launcher, and radar components. You will translate test data into actionable recommendations, work across government and industry teams, and travel to test ranges as needed while maintaining a focus on operational effectiveness for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, operations research, applied mathematics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in C-UAS, missile defense, or complex defense systems.
Experience integrating interceptors or other effectors into command-and-control systems.
Experience enabling testing at DoD test ranges and analyzing performance from test data.

Responsibilities

Lead integration of the Next Generation C-UAS Missile into command-and-control and battle-management systems.
Coordinate end-to-end system integration across interceptor, launcher, C2, radar, sensor, and communications.
Develop and maintain system-integration plans, interface requirements, verification methods, and test objectives.
Provide on-site engineering and analytical support at test ranges and government facilities.
Analyze system performance across the engagement sequence and advise improvements.
