Job summary

AV is seeking an experienced Lead C-UAS Systems Integration & Operational Analysis Engineer in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on developing, integrating, testing, and fielding a next‑gen C-UAS missile system, with emphasis on integration into command‑and‑control networks and end-to-end kill chains.

You will work across interceptor, launcher, radar, sensors, and C2 interfaces, conducting quantitative analysis, test planning, and operational reporting to improve system performance for warfighter

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, systems, OR related technical field;
• 8+ years in C-UAS, missile defense, or complex defense systems.
• Experience integrating interceptors into C2 systems.
• Experience at DoD test ranges for lab, ground, flight, or live-fire events.
• Experience analyzing performance from test/operational data.
• Understanding end-to-end C-UAS or air-defense engagement processes.
• Ability to produce technical reports and evidence-based recommendations.
• Strong communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of Next Gen C-UAS missile into command-and-control systems.
• Coordinate across interceptor, launcher, radar, and sensors.
• Develop integration plans, interface requirements, and test objectives.
• Support lab, ground, flight, and live-fire testing at government and contractor facilities.
• Provide on-site engineering and analytical support at test ranges.
• Analyze system performance across the engagement sequence and identify gaps.
• Prepare forensic analyses and narrative findings for leadership and operators.
• Mentor junior engineers and help establish repeatable integration processes.
