Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking a Senior Business Manager (C-Store) to drive growth and profitability in our field teams. You will own sales strategy, execution, and relationship management for key principals, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Retail to align objectives.

Must live in the geographic area and have your own car. Strong analytics using Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI, and AI will support your strategic decisions and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the industry required.
• Proven track record in sales capacity with a food broker or major national company.
• Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution: Deliver principal goals in volume, share, and sales fundamentals for assigned customers at the lowest possible cost.
• Revenue & Budget Management: Maximize company revenue through brokerage, commissions, and bonuses while overseeing expenditures and operating within budget.
• Customer Business Planning: Develop and sell strategic Customer Business Plans coordinating cross-functional teams to execute in-store objectives.
• Relationship Management: Serve as primary contact for principal-specific issues and build strong relationships with customers and trade partners.
• Business Development & Innovation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand principal portfolios.
• Trade Marketing Oversight: Manage trade-marketing funds and minimize sales-related deductions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate communication between General Managers, principals, and Account Managers.
• Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market pricing and provide insights to refine strategies.
• Technology & Analytics: Use Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI, AI to develop presentations and improve outcomes.
• Team Development & Leadership: Mentor team members and share best practices.
