Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Business Manager C-Store to drive our clients’ success by achieving key sales goals and growing market share in a defined marketing area. You will manage the assigned customer business, focusing on increasing sales, profitability, and in-store presence.

Responsibilities include delivering volume and share goals, coordinating with Retail Sales Managers and principals, building strong relationships, and presenting programs that support principal objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven track record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Ability to analyze sales and marketing information to make effective presentations.
• Proficient in software packages used to support the sales function.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Achieve principals’ volume, share, and sales goals while maximizing company revenue.
• Strategic communication with Retail Sales Managers, IT, Marketing, and sales teams.
• Lead and participate in development and presentation of Acosta introductions to new principals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with principals and customers.
• Coordinate communication between General Managers and principals on major initiatives.
• Utilize market visits and key accounts calls to sell programs and initiatives.
• Develop sales presentations leveraging insights from leadership to meet objectives.
• Provide feedback on strategies and selling programs to principals and management.
• Maintain account distribution information and monitor competitive activity.
• Share customer/manufacturer information to build organizational capacity.
• Ensure compliance with client procedures and policy, manage promotional plans and fund balances.
