Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the industry required.
• Proven track record in sales capacity with a food broker or major national company.
• Travel: Must be able to travel monthly to Temple to visit with McLane Team.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution: deliver goals in volume, share, and fundamentals.
• Revenue & Budget Management: maximize revenue while watching expenditures.
• Customer Business Planning: develop and sell strategic plans with cross-functional teams.
• Relationship Management: main contact for principal-specific issues and partnerships.
• Business Development & Innovation: identify new opportunities and expand portfolios.
• Trade Marketing Oversight: manage funds and minimize deductions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate GMs, principals, and managers.
• Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: monitor pricing and activity.
• Technology & Analytics: use Excel/PowerPoint to create presentations and insights.
• Team Development & Leadership: mentor team members and share best practices.
• Strategic Feedback & Continuous Improvement: provide actionable feedback and stay current.
