Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented C# Developer - II for a remote, full-time role supporting VA projects. The candidate will excel in full-stack development with .NET, REST APIs, CI/CD, and cloud integration.

Required experience includes strong C#, MVC, OOP, and SQL Server/EF, with a focus on test automation and secure software practices. Remote work is supported for eligible US-based applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience with .Net Framework/.Net Core and C#
• Back-end development using MVC/.Net Core
• RESTful APIs and SQL Server with EF
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (NUnit/xUnit/MSTest) and code reviews

Responsibilities

• Plan and define requirements, test plans, and provide technical support for software systems
• Develop back-end .NET applications and perform unit testing
• Participate in daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team
• Design and implement REST APIs and integrate with SQL Server via EF
• Promote test automation, modularization, and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
• Document software designs and use IDEs like Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
