Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented C# Developer II for a remote, full-time role supporting software development within the VA program.

You will contribute to .NET back-end services, RESTful APIs, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews, collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring junior developers.

The position requires five or more years of professional experience with .NET technologies, U.S. citizenship, and a Public Trust security clearance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in .NET Framework and .NET Core with strong C# skills.
• Experience with MVC back-end development and .NET Core.
• Strong OOP knowledge and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Version control with Git and TFVC.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
• Unit testing with NUnit/xUnit/MSTest.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and VS Code.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirements definition, test planning and execution for software systems.
• Develop software as part of the full-stack team, including design, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Own back-end development using C#, .NET, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Provide development support for production solutions as needed.
• Promote reusable, modular software and test automation.
