Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented C# Developer - II for a fully remote role supporting Veterans Affairs initiatives. The position requires strong .NET Core/Framework, MVC, RESTful APIs, and cloud familiarity; US citizenship and Public Trust clearance are required.

You will work in an Agile environment, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and code reviews, mentor juniors, and help design enterprise‑scale software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with .NET technologies.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework/.NET Core and MVC.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and data access with SQL Server/EF.
• Proficiency with Azure or AWS cloud services and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work in Agile environments and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning.
• Develop .NET back-end apps and conduct unit testing with NUnit or similar.
• Collaborate with team in daily stand-ups and code reviews.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Support production deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interface with stakeholders and promote good software engineering practices.
