Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is actively seeking a seasoned C# Developer - II for a remote, full-time role. The candidate will design and implement backend services in .NET, build RESTful APIs, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines within an Agile environment.

Ideal applicants have 5+ years in .NET, strong OOP and design pattern skills, experience with Azure/AWS, SQL Server, and modern DevOps practices, plus the ability to mentor junior developers and work independently.

Qualifications

Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with a strong understanding of C#.
Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and .Net core.
Strong Knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
Experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs.
Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and services.
Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS/TFVC).
Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy).
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
Proficiency with IDEs such as Visual Studio and VS Code.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Attention to detail and quality software.
Ability to mentor junior developers.
Experience with Agile development (Scrum/Kanban).
Familiarity with DevOps and IaC.

Responsibilities

Perform technical planning and requirements definition, testing, and software integration.
Handle product services: design, test, installation, operation, maintenance, disposal.
Participate in daily stand-ups as part of the software team.
Develop .Net back-end apps with C#, unit testing, and CI/CD deployments.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Provide development support for production deployments.
Implement long-term solutions within an Agile framework.
Interface with stakeholders for project requirements.
Promote test automation, modularization, and simplification.
Collaborate with colleagues on various solutions.
Document software designs with diagrams and module descriptions.
