Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented C# Developer - II for a fully remote, U.S.-based position. The role requires strong hands-on experience with .NET, C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms; you will collaborate with an Agile team to design, implement, and maintain enterprise software.

You will write unit tests with NUnit/xUnit, participate in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, and mentor junior developers while adhering to security best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in .Net Framework and .Net Core with C# expertise.
• Experience with MVC architecture and .Net Core.
• Strong OOP and design pattern knowledge.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs.
• Proficient in SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and services.
• Experience with Git/TFS version control.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
• Knowledge of NUnit/xUnit/MSTest for unit testing.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and VS Code.

Responsibilities

• Plan and define requirements; perform test planning and execution.
• Develop back-end services and perform software integration tasks.
• Participate in daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Support production deployments and post-release issues.
• Mentor junior developers and promote good engineering practices.
