NinjaOne is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the Endpoint State and Control team, shaping endpoint behavior across a managed environment. You will help define, enforce, and maintain security posture across millions of endpoints, collaborating in a fast-paced agile setting with engineers, designers, and product managers.

You will tackle enterprise-level software challenges, implement scalable C++ features, and contribute to high-quality, reliable software for real-world impact.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of systems level C++ engineering, C++14 or newer, C++17 preferred.
• Strong Windows systems programming experience
• Strong macOS systems experience, including Apple Endpoint Security framework, launchd, macOS configuration profiles, or equivalent OS level configuration APIs
• Experience with CMake and vcpkg, or equivalent C++ build and dependency systems.
• Comfortable designing and evolving multi process C++ architectures.
• Experience with SQLite or embedded database patterns for local state persistence.
• Ability to write design documents, define IPC contracts, and drive technical decisions with limited supervision.
• Comfortable designing from first principles, as this is a net new system with no existing internal architecture to inherit.
• Comfortable working in problem spaces with sparse documentation, including under documented OS APIs and novel architectural patterns, as well as undefined requirements.
• Comfortable experimenting with AI tools in development workflow.
