Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a skilled C# Developer - II for a remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The position requires strong .NET, MVC, and API experience and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.

You will work on full-stack development, implement CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to high-quality software used by government programs. Five or more years of hands-on experience, ability to work independently, and strong collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in .NET development.
• Experience with full-stack .NET/C# and MVC architecture.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (NUnit/xUnit/MSTest).

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems.
• Develop back-end services with .NET, ensure performance and quality.
• Participate in daily stand-ups as part of Agile team.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Document software designs and interface with stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers.
