Job summary

Responsibilities include development across the software lifecycle, integration with PPC runtime components, and thorough testing. Collaboration with QA, DevOps, and Simulink teams is essential to deliver robust embedded solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of C++ development experience in embedded/real-time or resource-constrained environments.
• Strong debugging, modular design, code review, and version control fundamentals.
• Experience delivering software across design, implementation, test, and maintenance with hardware/software interaction.
• Experience integrating software with hardware, control systems, or external interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C++ software for PPC control functions and embedded components.
• Participate across the software lifecycle from requirements clarifications to releases.
• Integrate control functionality with PPC runtime components and plant equipment.
• Investigate timing, latency, and data flow issues in target systems.
• Review model behavior with Simulink developers to align models and implementation.
• Develop or extend unit and integration tests with QA for hardware/test platforms.
• Contribute to code reviews, design, verification, and release preparation.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to ensure builds are testable and traceable.
