PrincePerelson & Associates is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team developing and supporting sophisticated embedded systems and connected products. This hands-on, IC-ready role covers firmware from microcontrollers to embedded Linux and device connectivity.

• 7+ years of embedded systems experience in firmware or software development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Production or field deployment experience with embedded products.
• Strong C and/or C++ proficiency.
• ARM MCU and RTOS experience.
• Embedded Linux system development and support.
• Familiar with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet interfaces.
• Ability to read schematics and component datasheets.
• Git, code reviews, testing, and automated builds.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
• Develop and support embedded Linux systems, including services and device integration.
• Implement firmware features for startup, updates, secure operation, memory, storage, and monitoring.
• Integrate device-to-device and remote communication interfaces.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with lab equipment.
• Participate in hardware bring-up, board checks, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineers on architecture and interfaces.
• Contribute to development standards: source control, code reviews, automated builds, testing, and releases.
• Support manufacturing and field teams with issue resolution.
• Create and maintain technical docs, interface specs, and test procedures.
• Improve embedded development practices and automation tooling.
